Oranis the Unending Storm

Oranis is the first character I've ever designed and modeled, he started off as just a part of the mythology from something I'm writing but I decided to sketch him out and see what came of it. Eventually I decided he needed a model, so I jumped into 3ds Max and came up with this.
In addition to being my first character, this is the first time I had ever gave a shot at modeling cloth. It came out looking fairly good, and I'm looking to improve on it when I model his two brothers; Deranoth of the Conflagration and Ruin the Twice Blinded.
You get bonus points for knowing where the name Oranis comes from.
