Glacier Defense Systems: K.E.D.S

K.E.D.S (Kit Exhibition Drone System) is a bi-pedal platform meant for the testing and display of new or current GDS uniforms and equipment. In short, an advanced mannequin used by the tailors and designers of the GDS Science Legion when developing all manner of legionnaire clothing.

This project was meant to once again push me as far as I could go and then even farther. I was growing tired of just having a typical gradient behind my models, so I figured it was time to create my first full scene. Props, a main character model, model rigging, lighting, rendering, the whole enchilada in one thing.
It took a long time due to having to learn new software, new skills, make awful mistakes and start over, redo topology and edgeflow, etc...
But I find it was a ton of failures to make a ton of progress. Not bad for running on ancient machinery that's gonna crap the bed any minute now.
